I'm getting a "Failed to Pair" message What should I do?

Modified on Mon, 30 Sep at 11:14 AM

The "Failed to Pair" error message appears during the panic button pairing process on Android if the app fails to move past the Scanning step to the Requested Pairing step.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps to try if you run into this error:

  1. Tap the retry button (the circular arrow) a couple of times.
  2. Perform a soft reset on the panic button, wait for it to stop flashing green, then tap on the retry button.
  3. While staying in the app, turn off your phone's Bluetooth, and perform a soft reset on the panic button. Once the panic button stops flashing green, turn your phone's Bluetooth back on and tap on the retry button in the app.

If the above steps don't work, please contact us directly so we can help troubleshoot further.
