How do SolusGuard check-in sessions work?

Modified on Tue, 29 Nov, 2022 at 12:08 PM

SolusGuard check-in sessions are initialized and managed by the user from the SolusGuard Mobile Application (the App).

To run a check-in session:

- Enter the App and tap "Start Check-in"

- On the next screen, choose an appropriate amount of time for the session and enter any additional information that should be passed along to the emergency contacts in the case of an expired check-in session

- Tap "Start"

During the session, the check-in screen presents the timer counting down as well as a couple of buttons for extending the timer length:

- Tap the timer any time prior to expiry to end the session and prevent an alert from being sent

- Tap the + button to add a bit of time to your timer

- Tap the "Restart" button to put the timer back to its original length (this is handy for users who must check in continuously throughout a shift)

Pro Tip: the buttons available to users during active sessions are customizable. Reach out to SolusGuard directly for more information, or to change these buttons.

If the user allows the check-in session to expire, an alert notification will be sent to all emergency contacts with the user's GPS location and all of the additional information that was entered when setting up the check-in session.
