How to test check-in sessions and alerts

Test the SolusGuard Check-In system as often as you need. This will help you familiarize yourself with the alerting process to ensure you are comfortable using the system in case of a real emergency situation.   

Check-in Session Only

1. Tap start check-in

2. Choose a short time length
3. Enter additional details into the other fields (optional)
4. Tap Start
5. Use the buttons below the timer to add additional time to your check-in session
6. Before the timer expires, tap the large circle timer to end the check-in session

Missed Check-in Alert   

1. Mute or warn your contacts that you are conducting a test

2. Tap start check-in
3. Choose a short time length
4. Enter additional details into the other fields (optional)
5. Tap Start
6. Allow your check-in timer to expire (reach 0:00)
7. Have one of your emergency contacts view the alert details (this is done by tapping the alert notification or by navigating to the Teams section and tapping on the person whose check-in timer just expired)
